From Budapest to Veszprém by bus (coach) - (approx. 2 hours)
- From Budapest Airport take the direct bus service, Bus 200E to „Kőbánya-Kispest" (also known as KÖKI) metro station. This is the final destination of the bus. Price: 350-450 HUF. Tickets can be purchased at the bus driver. Approx. 20 minutes travel.
- From „Kőbánya-Kispest" metro station take the metro to Direction: Újpest-Központ, and take off at station: „Népliget" bus station. The metro ticket is 350 HUF. Tickets can be purchased at the station in a ticket office. App. 5 minutes travel.
- (The same route (point 1 and 2) may be covered by a taxi ride. Taxi station can be found direct at the main entrance. The price of the taxi from Budapest Airport to Népliget bus station must be around 7000-8000 HUF.

By rail:
Veszprém lies on the Budapest rail route, with several trains serving this route every day.
From the Slovenian capital without having to change trains or with 1-2 changes from Vienna.
- From Budapest Airport, first, you need to take bus line 200E to the "Ferihegy" Railway station (7 minutes travelling time)
- Then, you have to buy the railway ticket at the station or online.
- From Ferihegy Railway station take the train to "Kőbánya-Kispest" Railway station (travelling time: 5 minutes)
- From "Kőbánya-Kispest" Railway station Budapest to Székesfehérvár city (travelling time: 1 hour 12 minutes)
- From Székesfehérvár city to Veszprém railway station (travelling time: 42 minutes)
By road:
The city is connected to Budapest by the M7 motorway and the #8 main 1 to 2 hours.
